Koori Kulcha Aboriginal Corporation is located in the grounds of Kaz Care and provides a number of wonderful experiences from school programs to corporate programs incorporating indigenous art and cooking.
KKAC also runs community art and cooking based programs for many community groups in the Southern Highlands including lessons for local indigenous children to help them connect with their rich culture as well as helping the disabled and disadvantaged people of the wider community with cooking lessons and work place training.
Koori Kulcha is proud to be associated with Kaz Care and together service the indigenous and wider community in the Southern Highlands and beyond.
Little is known about our own Koori culture in the Southern Highlands and what better way to engage and teach children about this deep history than through art. Indigenous art is earthy, tactile, grounding and creative. These classes are conducted by trained indigenous artists who have an ability to connect with children in a naturally warm way and teach them the how to create their own indigenous inspired artworks to take home and enjoy.Book now!
