Local Southern Highlander Lisa McGill is a resident presenter at The Cook’s Cooking School as well as owner and star baker of Baked In Bowral, a delicious baked treats pop-up business.
Lisa is a qualified chef and journalist, and merged these two skills to carve a career in the Food Media industry having worked across a number of magazines and television shows as a home economist, recipe writer and food stylist. She also has vast experience in food development for the likes of Unilever, Hellofresh and Gloria Jeans, to name a few.
With her teaching certificate in hand, Lisa spent time as the NSW manager for Jamie Oliver’s cooking schools where she shared her passion for healthy, simple, home cooked meals with others.
Lisa is passionate about getting people back into the kitchen and cooking from scratch and is thrilled that she can now cook, have fun and educate people in her own backyard… and we are thrilled to have her as part of our team!
