Learn about our own Koori culture in the Southern Highlands in an engaging hands-on indigenous weaving workshop.
In this workshop kids will spend the day creating, making and weaving their very own Indigenous Jewellery set complete with bangle, necklace and ear-rings.
All woven jewellery will go home with their makers after a day of cultural creating.

Join resident presenter of The Cook’s Cooking School, Lisa McGill for a fun hands-on day of making & baking an Aussie inspired menu.
Kids will make & bake:
• Lamington cupcakes
• Cheesy Vegemite scrolls*
• Sausage Rolls & salad sticks*
• Summer Punch*
* will be eaten for morning tea & lunch. Lamington cupcakes & any leftover creations will go home with their makers.
Wednesday – 22 January, 2020
This is a one day Magic workshop with tricks from the Discover Magic course. This course will include a variety of magic tricks highlighting various aspects of magic. The course includes all materials and your child gets to take home secret magic folders and specially designed magic tricks.
The Magic workshop has now been running for over 2 years, with no workshop the same. So even if your child has attended one of our classes, they will not be disappointed.
Koori Kulcha Aboriginal Corporation is located in the grounds of Kaz Care and provides a number of wonderful experiences from school programs to corporate programs incorporating indigenous art and cooking.
Local Southern Highlander Lisa McGill is a resident presenter at The Cook’s Cooking School as well as owner and star baker of Baked In Bowral, a delicious baked treats pop-up business.
Peter is Your Angel Charity founder & Managing Director. He has a Graduate Degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, is a successful business owner and philanthropist. He has mastered computers, engineering, the art of magic and cooking! Above all, Peter gives his time freely to help people in need of support. He is keen to provide positive relief, help children engage in learning, and encourage communities and families to come together as one.
